ABOUT ME

Welcome to my holistic care website!

My experience includes over 2 decades as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a Family Nurse Practitioner, and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have served in private practice, in behavioral health in-patient facilities, and in substance abuse residential treatment programs, treating dual-diagnosis patients.

As a Family and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, I have worked in Urgent Care, Trauma-Intensive Care Units, and Family Practice settings.

My practice focuses on adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients. Many of my clients face mental health challenges, compounded by socio-economic issues.

I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, respectful, and, above all, supportive, space for my clients, where they receive the professional care and guidance they need to practice the self-care and self-love that will enable them to rise above their diagnosis, and live the fulfilling life they deserve.

I provide individualized care: each client’s concerns and preferences guide the custom-care plan we devise for recovery and full functionality, as an integral part of developing a treatment plan of action that serves the specific needs of each client.

My approach is client-centered. Holistic, and individualized. My treatment philosophy is anchored on the fact that, to provide adequate treatment, one must address not only the biological and psychological factors contributing to one's distress, but also the socio-economic factors that so often are contributing factors.

The well-being of the client is paramount. Sustained relief depends on an infrastructure that covers all areas that contribute to the crisis. To that end, we collaborate with professionals in government and other organizations, as well as in private practice, to devise and deliver the best care possible for our clients.

My practice hinges on a strong commitment to individualized care, on building trust and long-term relationships with our clients, on listening to, and addressing, their needs, and on delivering a treatment plan with maximum potential for success.

Compassion and empathy are at the core of my practice in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Change only comes from those who care.

“Compassion and empathy are at the core of my practice in psychiatry and psychotherapy.”
